Overview AND Phone Recorder

Implementing
voice
recording offers benefits for businesses if the proper solution is deployed. A couple of decision criteria have to be considered:

  • Ease of implementation and maintenance
  • Scalability and flexibility of the solution
  • Features meeting business requirements
The AND Phone Recorder solution can be implemented even in existing networks by delivering the
voice
traffic to the AND Phone Recorder. Usually this is accomplished by using port mirroring features of the switches in the network.
Voice
traffic sent to the AND Phone Recorder server (APAS) is analyzed and temporarily stored on the server. Temporarily storing the
voice
conversation offers the possibility to do look-back recording. If some recording triggers match the calling information or the user trigger the call recording, the call is archived on the APAS.

Ease of implementation: Typically the server setup and integration into the network is done in less than an hour.

Communications network with three locations :

Smaller environments, usually with centralized call recording, need just one server where the whole functionality is implemented and can even upgrade with other AND Phone services on the same server.

Environments with higher call recording volume or a distributed environment can combine multiple servers and optionally use a management server to have one centralized management of the whole environment.

Scalability and flexibility: AND Phone Recorder can be implemented starting with just one line to record and is scalable to thousands of lines. Independend of the size the whole management is executed centralized. The AND Phone Recorder can be combined with any other solution out of the AND Phone portfolio to leverage existing servers.

Recording of the
voice
traffic is done in the background and recorded calls are archived whenever a trigger matches. The flexible nature of the triggers allow you to define exactly what calls should be archived. Beside the automatic archiving of calls it is possible for the users to trigger recording directly on their phone or even on the desktop PC.

Feature meeting business requirements: We focus on features you need for your daily business operations and have a dedicated development team to realize special requirements in a timely manner.
